Please note our Crew Covid Guidance which includes details of pre-voyage screening as well as procedures to be followed if anyone shows symptoms while on board. The pre-voyage screening includes a requirement for two negative Covid tests: one 3-4 days before the voyage, and the second immediately before travelling to the boat. We may therefore have short-notice vacancies if someone tests positive and has to drop out. If you would like to go on the waiting list for a short-notice place, please email, including your phone number. Please note that you would need to do a Covid test 3-4 days before any voyage you might be interested in joining - if we call you a day or two before the voyage to say there is a space, but you haven't recently done a test, it will be too late to do the first of the two required. The free rapid home tests (lateral flow) are fine. Some of our voyages have been booked by an organised group such as a school or another charity and if anyone from their group has to drop out, they would be likely to find a reserve from within their own organisation. The voyages shown in yellow on the list below are for mixed individual bookings and are therefore the most likely to have a short-notice place for an individual.

The programme below gives details of dates, prices and start and finish ports but does not tell you where a voyage is likely to go between start and finish ports. This is very dependent on the weather, but also on the young people in the crew. Some want to do long-distance adventures and are keen to sail all night in difficult conditions, others want a gentler introduction to sailing. Some groups have passports, others don't; some crews are fit and confident, others include young people with special needs. The decision about where to go therefore depends on you - we don't decide in advance.

Where voyages are marked "enquiry" on the programme, it means that someone has made an intial bid for a full-boat booking but nothing has been confirmed and no deposit has yet been paid, so if you really want that voyage - or a change to the programme that might require an alteration to that voyage - please ask. We will then go back to the original client and see if they want to confirm - if not, you may be able to book the voyage. "Reserved" means a deposit has been paid and we are just waiting for the full fee - it is harder, though not always impossible, to amend a reserved voyage.

Any light blue voyage with "15" in the "berths available" column is still open for a full-boat group booking. The normal number of places available to book on a voyage is 15, but where a group includes people with complex needs or behaviour, we may restrict numbers to 12 in order to ensure a higher staffing ratio - this can be agreed with group clients on a voyage-by-voyage basis. In 2021 we may also decide to restrict numbers per voyage to aid social distancing: we will discuss this with clients when booking.

Yellow rows are mixed voyages open to individual bookings, showing the number of berths still available. When indivduals contact us about booking, we will attempt to allocate people to broadly compatible groups depending on availability - we wouldn't want to book a 12-year old on a week where everyone else is 18 or over, for example..

Voyage start and finish times may vary, so do confirm these with the office, but in most cases, UK-based voyages will start at 4pm on the first day and end at 10am on the last day. There are some exceptions - for example, we can start earlier or finish later on voyages preceded or followed by a maintenance / cleaning day, and there may be differences with periods such as half-terms when we are trying to make the best use of limited time.

Please note that whether or not voyages start and/or finish outside the UK, we may also visit other countries (generally France). Passports and any necessary visas will be required, unless it is specifically agreed with a client that a particular voyage will be UK-only. This is normally straightforward with group bookings.

Contact the office to make a booking.
