Voyages currently planned for 2020 which potentially have vacancies are listed below. All voyages EXCEPT those marked * are currently open for organised group bookings for up to 15 people. For individual bookings, please contact joclark@oytsouth.org who will make a note of your details and availability and let you know when voyage dates are released to individuals. This is because our voyages are divided between group bookings (such as schools) and mixed individual voyages and we need to concentrate individual bookings into a sensible number of voyages - no point ending up with twenty voyages with only two or three people booked on each (not enough to sail the boat). So we release individual voyages a few at a time once we can start seeing that there is enough interest for the voyage to work. This also gives us a chance to tell people about the likely age range of a voyage before they book - you may not want your 12-year old on a voyage where everyone else is 18! Those marked * are the first batch of individual voyages; but we would expect to release other voyage for individual bookings in due course.

We did look into taking Prolific to Spain for the Tall Ships races in summer 2020 but sadly the length of the voyages made them too expensive for the great majority of our clients and we have reverted to a UK-based programme due to popular demand.

Please note that while all these voyages start and finish in the UK, we may still visit other countries (generally France). Passports and any necessary visas will be required, unless it is specifically agreed with a client that a particular voyage will be UK-only. This is normally straightforward with group bookings if a client chooses to remain in the UK; but mixed individual voyages are more likely to require passports as it can cause complications if the weather is perfect and most of the crew are keen to sail cross-Channel but are prevented because just one person has no passport!
